About this artwork
Creation of a single print run printed with mineral pigments on “Museum” quality paper made with different Algorithmic Art tools from the “Ché, Buenos Aires” Project. Argentine Tango is known worldwide, but what few know is that it has its own language: “Lunfardo”. "Chamuyo cafiolo", the title of the work, refers to the conversations (chamuyo) that the pimps (cafiolos) have with each other. The creative process begins with a photograph, and the work…
is finished with drawing, painting and digital collage. This work is a whirlwind of emotions and colors captured on paper, created with lively pigments that capture the mix of drama and euphoria. The characters overflow with a contagious energy that invites the viewer to immerse themselves in a world where passion manifests itself as protagonists. By bringing this piece into your home, you'll add a touch of vibrancy and an air of fearless sophistication.

Fernando Grilli, son of photographers and raised in the nuances of light, fuses photography, collage and algorithmic art. His works, imbued with techniques such as retouching and monotype, dialogue with the aesthetics of Art Deco, PopArt and the mystery of film noir. They transmit the weight of the social, the poetry of light and shadow, and a conceptual vision that sparks reflection.
