About this artwork
Creation of a single print run printed with mineral pigments on “Museum” quality paper made with different Algorithmic Art tools from the “My Travels, my World” Series. Inspired by a photograph, the work was created by an algorithmic tool and finished with classic watercolor strokes, and digital drawing and painting. In this composition, I captured the nostalgia and spirit of adventure of roads full of history. I used pigments in ocher and rust tones…
to capture the essence of a bygone era. It is an invitation to travel in time, where each stroke revives stories of travelers and dreams. By having it at home, it will fill the space with a feeling of freedom and the beauty of vintage. And it will also deliver the touch of daring represented by the new artistic trend proposed by Algorithmic Art.

Fernando Grilli, son of photographers and raised in the nuances of light, fuses photography, collage and algorithmic art. His works, imbued with techniques such as retouching and monotype, dialogue with the aesthetics of Art Deco, PopArt and the mystery of film noir. They transmit the weight of the social, the poetry of light and shadow, and a conceptual vision that sparks reflection.
