It is a unique work (1/1) and part of the Diptych "Malbec – Chromatic Palimpsest: The Double Life of Malbec in a Pictorial Key". It is a complex digital collage of algorithmic creations with a final edition of digital and algorithmic painting and drawing processes. In its geometric fragmentation of space, the saturated color palette creates a dynamic chromatic contrast that energizes the composition. The bottle presents a very striking visual treatment,… a marked division between its upper and lower parts. The upper part displays a predominant crimson, while the lower part transitions to luminous greens, yellows, and reds. This chromatic duality represents the different facets of Malbec: the upper part evoking the tradition, maturity, and body of the wine, while the lower part suggests its fresher and more vibrant notes. The composition nods to the pictorial tradition of the still life while firmly inserting itself into contemporary visual language.
Fernando Grilli, son of photographers and raised in the nuances of light, fuses photography, collage and algorithmic art. His works, imbued with techniques such as retouching and monotype, dialogue with the aesthetics of Art Deco, PopArt and the mystery of film noir. They transmit the weight of the social, the poetry of light and shadow, and a conceptual vision that sparks reflection.
