About this artwork
Single-run work printed with mineral pigments on “Museum” quality paper made with different Algorithmic Art tools from the “That's Samba, baby” Series. I have created this work with the inspiration of the rhythm and passion that Samba evokes, a typical Brazilian dance; essence of movement and the joy of living. The vibrant colors and bold shapes are a tribute to the relentless energy of the spirit of the "Carioca" (the inhabitant of the city of Rio…
de Janeiro) and his contagious emotions. This piece is a tribute to the celebration of culture, music and dance, inviting emotion and movement.

Fernando Grilli, son of photographers and raised in the nuances of light, fuses photography, collage and algorithmic art. His works, imbued with techniques such as retouching and monotype, dialogue with the aesthetics of Art Deco, PopArt and the mystery of film noir. They transmit the weight of the social, the poetry of light and shadow, and a conceptual vision that sparks reflection.
