About this artwork
In this unique work printed on "Museum" quality paper, I have used intense mineral pigments to breathe life and movement into the scene. The vitality of the red contrasts with the blues of the fog; and the greenish ones seem to attract the ship towards an unknown danger. The ochers add drama and the strong texture gives vigor to the composition. It is a creation that evokes a dance of passion, struggle, resistance, hope and victory. I have sought…
to capture the interaction between the diffuse light and the closed fog, creating a piece that invites reflection and contemplation. Ideal for display in environments with strong character

Fernando Grilli, son of photographers and raised in the nuances of light, fuses photography, collage and algorithmic art. His works, imbued with techniques such as retouching and monotype, dialogue with the aesthetics of Art Deco, PopArt and the mystery of film noir. They transmit the weight of the social, the poetry of light and shadow, and a conceptual vision that sparks reflection.
