About this artwork
Unique work printed on “Museum” quality paper with mineral pigments in a range of vivid pastel colors that give tension to the scene that represents the home of someone who no longer materially belongs to this world. To add drama, I used a mixed technique incorporating drawing and digital painting on photography, with impetuous strokes of graphite and digital Indian ink. The ephemerality, foolishness and fantasy of earthly life have an implicit character…
in the work. Inspired by impressionism, my creation seeks to evoke emotions and reflection on existence and the passage of time. When contemplating it, there is a comforting sense of mystical perspective on existence.

Fernando Grilli, son of photographers and raised in the nuances of light, fuses photography, collage and algorithmic art. His works, imbued with techniques such as retouching and monotype, dialogue with the aesthetics of Art Deco, PopArt and the mystery of film noir. They transmit the weight of the social, the poetry of light and shadow, and a conceptual vision that sparks reflection.
