About this artwork
"In this artwork, I've created a composition that interrogates the boundaries between form and the formless". The black & white colors emphasizes a sense of ambiguity, while the structured chaos of the shapes hints at an underlying order, reflective of modernity's complexities. It's designed to evoke thought and emotion, adding a mysterious yet harmonious presence to any space it inhabits. This striking abstract composition, rendered in a monochromatic…
palette, showcases a dynamic interplay of form and texture. The artist employs a grid-like structure, with irregularly shaped blocks and fragmented shapes that suggest a deconstructed urban landscape or a geological cross-section. Bold, gestural brushstrokes and splatters of paint add a sense of spontaneity and depth, while the interplay of light and shadow enhances the tactile quality of the work. Signed by Fernando Jaramillo, this piece exemplifies a masterful blend of controlled structure and expressive freedom.
