In this series of paintings there is a strong narrative of ephemerality of light dancing through the studio. The paintigns are trying to communicate something about the radiance of light and being in the light filled space of the studio. The main flower motif is the peony flower but also translucent and featherwieght hydrangeas that have been saved over from the heat filled summer on the studio shelves.
