His pictorial creations have always been inspired and stimulated by his travels and the meeting of Cultures and Natures both European and Tropical. She takes a lot of pictures and makes many sketches which I then use for my creations. It was quite natural that she wanted to take pictures underwater in order to immortalize what she was seeing.
Once in her studio, she draws inspiration from her photo library, and tries to transcribe her… colorful and graphic impressions that she observed underwater, trying to express the emotion that the subject gave her at the precise moment when she discovered it for the first time.
She seeks to express the explosion of colors that spring up in the coral reef, as well as the surrealist poetry of the unexpected forms that the animal world takes. Fish, corals and all the flora and fauna of the seabed are inexhaustible sources of inspiration.
