About this artwork
I wanted to paint this street as one would compose a film scene. The still-damp asphalt becomes a mirror, catching every sliver of light coming from the facades and shop windows. The reds, golds, and blue reflections blend and echo one another, tracing a path that guides the gaze toward the dark horizon.
There are no silhouettes, no noise, just the feeling that the city is holding its breath. Each lit window tells an invisible story, and I like… to imagine the life unfolding behind it. In this silence, the light becomes almost palpable, like a presence guiding me.
