Dans cette œuvre peinte à l’huile, j'ai souhaité capter l’essence d’une ville au coucher du soleil, où lumière et architecture se fondent dans une atmosphère à la fois paisible et vibrante. Un personnage solitaire marche sur une avenue encore mouillée, son reflet se dessinant dans une flaque d’eau comme une extension de lui-même, entre rêve et réalité.
Le jeu des couleurs — chaudes, incandescentes, presque incendiaires dans les tons orangés et rouges… — s’oppose à la fraîcheur des ombres violettes et bleutées. Ce contraste accentue la profondeur de la scène et invite le spectateur à contempler le silence suspendu d’un instant urbain, hors du temps.
