About this artwork
Patience and determination, gesture after gesture, as if to count the grains of sand on a dune. This project is a mental challenge, introspection, a moment of meditation and surpassing oneself. Contemplating the finished work simply allows us to start the next one.

Florent Lubienicki is a multidisciplinary artist based in Germany whose works have been exhibited in Canada, France, the United States, and England. He cites "the imperceptible" as being the central theme in his compositions. As such, Lubienicki explores what is not visible, such as emotions, time, space, energy, and the perception of music. His artistic practice is marked by the repetition of movement and a minimalist aesthetic.
