The “Strings” series finds its resonance in String Theory, a concept from theoretical physics suggesting that the fundamental particles of the universe are, in fact, tiny vibrating “strings.” In these works, the contrast between formal perception and artistic execution is expressed through a variety of techniques, from layered paint drips to broad, energetic gestures that traverse the surface of the canvas.
The use of complementary colors such as… yellow–violet, red–green, blue–orange, alongside the binary colors green–violet–orange, brings life and dynamism to the painting, creating the illusion of a three-dimensional space and a musical/sonic/vibrational synergy through the relationship between sound and color. These chromatic combinations enliven the atmosphere of the painting, offering the viewer an intense visual experience and a powerful impression of depth and movement.
« Painting is an expression of freedom, it is the way to be, it is the moment when time stops. »
