About this artwork

artistic alchemy of turning the forgotten into the cherished. This work explores the profound shift from a reclaimed terracotta vessel into a modern "archaeological gem" through layered stratification and metallic infusion.
The surface is a masterclass in stratified color; multiple layers of dark and light gray acrylics are hand-applied to create visual depth, mimicking weathered stone. This is elegantly accented by strategic touches of genuine copper… powder, which catch the light and evoke the natural oxidation of ancient bronze. The rhythmic, circular geometries—reminiscent of ancestral Mandalas—add a meditative quality. With its protective matte finish, "Serenity" embodies the philosophy that through the artist's touch, ordinary objects can undergo a total transformation.
