About this artwork
The work "The Magic Lure" is taken from the series of my last exhibition on "the secret".
Here is an excerpt from his story:
The attraction of the moment focused on my little cousin Leopold, congratulated each time he returned from trolling. His "made in Indonesia" lure left the other lines without catches, while his continuously brought up enormous jacks, tuna, and other salmon. Many envious fishermen tried to reproduce from memory his hybrid… "dragon shrimp" lure, from which dangled four hooks, but without success. The gift offered by our Sulawesians also seemed to bewitch its new owner, who became less and less approachable as his pretension grew. The cheeky fellow no longer even hesitated to call us "sardine fishermen"!
