About this artwork
In this oil painting, I wanted to capture a moment of quiet suspension, where two birds perch as if pausing mid-thought in a soft, open sky. I was drawn to their elongated forms and drifting tails, which suggest movement even in stillness, while the fragile branch becomes a stage for balance and restraint. There is a gentle irony in this calm scene, where grace feels slightly exaggerated, as if nature itself were posing.
