About this artwork
In 'Métal Petal,' I wanted to explore the intersection of delicate nature and a more industrial, silver-toned light. My focus was on the way the white petals seem to catch the heavy energy of a gathering storm, contrasting those cool, metallic whites against the warm, grounded tones of the fruit below.
