About this artwork
The figure of the shaman has always impressed and intrigued! So I thought I'd imagine two shaman sisters in an almost surreal atmosphere, with a magical object (on the right) at their disposal for the wild dances they'll perform to enter a trance.

Franca Fabrizio has devoted herself entirely to painting since her debut at Paviart in 2022. She has received awards and honorable mentions; she was selected for the 61st VENICE BIENNALE (May 9, 2026, to November 22, 2026) in the Soy artistic group of the Guatemala Pavilion. She loves to continually research and experiment. Her works combine rationality and imagination, emotions and profound thoughts, dreams and desires. She expresses herself in different genres which, despite their variety, make her style and pictorial touch recognizable, outlining a coherent poetics. Her material, cosmic, and spiritual explorations powerfully define her artistic identity. Her "horses of the soul" represent energy, vitality, freedom, and emotion; her "dreamlike and symbolic" works speak to the unconscious and address issues of contemporary society; her "transfigured landscapes" leave room for nature as a living and spiritual presence; The "Geometric-Conceptuals" gives us a new vision of the real world.
