About this artwork
In this work, I used acrylic to explore the fascinating interplay of shapes and depths. I was inspired by modern architecture and visual labyrinths. Each square and line not only plays with the perception of space but also invites the viewer to a serene introspection. The touches of yellow are flashes of light that guide through the complexity, suggesting there is always a way forward, a hope to be discovered in the most unexpected corners. This… piece is a reflection of resilience and clarity, perfect for infusing an atmosphere of calm and reflection into any space.
Halfway through finishing this work, I learned of the tragic death of Xavier García at the age of 57, leaving a tremendous void in our town of Tàrrega (Lleida).
Writer, poet, great connoisseur of the work of Manuel de Pedrolo and art expert, among other things.
Work painted in acrylic with a gray chromatism and yellow details.
Francesc Bergadà Gassol, influenced by Danish artist Carsten Beck, fuses his experience in interior decoration with painting on canvas and fabric. His works are characterized by an abstract, minimalist and geometric style, using mixed techniques where acrylic paint predominates and highlighting his harmonious use of grey, black, white and blue colours. Inspired by the classic game 'Tangram', his pieces convey emotions with aesthetic balance and elegance in each stroke, challenging the viewer to find beauty in simplicity.
