About this artwork
I created this work, "Greys and Co. 03," using acrylics, exploring emotional contrasts and clarity through geometric forms. Each segment and color represents a distinct emotion or thought, asking the viewer to reflect on the complexity that lies within the seemingly simple. Its presence in a home carries an aura of introspection and sophistication, energizing the space with a continuous visual dialogue.
Work painted in acrylic in shades of gray… with details in yellow, ochre and green.
Francesc Bergadà Gassol, influenced by Danish artist Carsten Beck, fuses his experience in interior decoration with painting on canvas and fabric. His works are characterized by an abstract, minimalist and geometric style, using mixed techniques where acrylic paint predominates and highlighting his harmonious use of grey, black, white and blue colours. Inspired by the classic game 'Tangram', his pieces convey emotions with aesthetic balance and elegance in each stroke, challenging the viewer to find beauty in simplicity.
