About this artwork
On fire from within is a white and red abstract that takes inspiration from the dynamism and will of many women I know, bright, intelligent and caring. They are for me a great source of strength and happiness.
The original artwork on plexiglas board, is made with acrylic colors, gesso, resins mixed with sands.
Being richly textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience.
Size unframed: 45x30x0.2" (114.3x76.2x0.5cm)
Size framed:… 117.3x79.2 cm
Signed on the back, ready to hang and sold framed (white wooden floating frame).

Artist Statement:
My work explores the interplay between nature's elements and human resilience, drawing inspiration from clouds, ocean waves, and landscapes. These forms reflect life's challenges and transformations.
Through layered textures and organic shapes, I capture transitions where calm meets chaos, strength meets upheaval. My style combines soft tones with vibrant contrasts, highlighting the balance between adaptability and strength.
I invite viewers to connect with these abstract landscapes, celebrating our shared journey of growth and resilience. Influences include Zao Wou-Ki, Julie Mehretu, traditional Chinese ink painters, and architects like Zaha Hadid and Frank Gehry.
