“Ti proteggo” is part of the cycle dedicated to the figure of the woman as a universal icon of love and protection.
I reinterpret the archetype of the Madonna, wrapping a fragile and defenseless creature in a vibrant cloak of blue and gold — a cat, symbol of the purest sweetness.
Through a material and gestural language, I tell of a silent but immense love, which manifests itself in the simple act of caring.
The cloak, once used by women as… a shelter and refuge, here becomes the narrative center: a gesture of ancient tenderness, an invisible but very powerful bond.
