About this artwork
I've been painting for many years, and since adolescence I've had what I now like to call an obsession: vortices. Ever since I was a child, I'd create beautiful frames in my notebooks, starting from the center of the sheet and then expanding to create these vortices or spirals. I've continued to paint them over the years, creating countless of them. Never one is the same. Even on fabrics, I paint spirals and vortices to meditate and find a center.…
I always emerge revitalized, and looking at them afterwards makes me very happy. This is one of the last paintings I painted, and I find it beautiful. Unrepeatable and unique, like all my works, which I consider beautiful and valuable.
