About this artwork
The work investigates the reflection of a metaphysical light on a corrugated surface, crossed by folds of vertical fabric, as if they were waves. A large mosaic of neo-Byzantine suggestion, which recalls the great golden backdrops of the Middle Ages.
Bronze-colored monochrome, made using micaceous pigments on a viscose fabric applied on canvas. Polyptych consisting of three canvases forming a square.
Work exhibited at the personal exhibition… "Path of Creativity" curated and reviewed by Simonetta Milazzo (Rome, frmSpace; December 2019).

Francesca Romana Mainieri
Italy
« My work represents a suspended space where the visible world communicates with the invisible one. My research is a permanent tribute to the metaphysical value of light. »
Francesca Romana Mainieri is an Italian painter, sculptor, and restorer who has exhibited her pieces nationally, as well as in the United States, Czechia, Spain, Switzerland and Denmark. Her artistic expression was born from a search for inner harmony and represents a personal meditation on the beauty of impermanence. By reworking the archetypes of the Western artistic tradition, based on balance and formal rigor, Mainieri creates contemporary non-figurative works supported by her minimalist vision.
