About this artwork
The decomposition of reality into simple figures and the subsequent reassembly on the canvas originates, in the work in view, the representation of an animal, a dog, recognizable only by some parts of its body, head, neck and part of the legs, visible below on the left.
The artist, through the two actions of decomposition and recomposition, does not privilege the detailed vision of the subject but rather his synchratic vision, based on the harmonic… coexistence of the geometric figures and the chosen colors.
Work treated with protective transparent varnish.

Credentials
- Experienced Artist
« I could define art in an academic or technical way, but I prefer to do it in a personal way. For me, art is simply a need for life. »
Francesco Cagnato is an Italian painter whose art has been featured in solo exhibitions in both Italy and Czechia. His ultimate goal is to translate the beauty of his subjects by highlighting their true nature. Much of his work involves telling the story of landscapes, which tends towards minimalism. For the most part, Cagnato uses oil-based mediums, sometimes applied in conjunction with liquid chalk, as well as graphite and charcoal.
