About this artwork
In dit olieverfschilderij heb ik de verstrengeling van leven en tijd verkend. Een oudere vrouw, diepte in haar gelaatstrekken, omarmt teder een skelet. Dit tableau reflecteert de dialoog tussen verleden en huidig, tussen jeugd en ouderdom. Het is een ode aan de cycli van leven, een herinnering aan onze eigen vergankelijkheid en het universele verhaal van menselijkheid.
