About this artwork
In this painting, I wanted to combine the rigidity of codes and numbers with the delicacy of nature, represented by the red flowers and the whale (in relief) that blends in with the lines of the barcode, almost as if hiding. The contrast between black and white creates a stark contrast, but the touch of color evokes life and hope, a rebirth and rebellion against the rigid patterns of society.
