« I want to show the shape of emotion. »
Frank Boogaard is an experienced Dutch sculptor with international exposure. From wood to wax, his sculptures explore and symbolize emotional inner worlds - that which cannot be expressed in words. Each sculpture displays a hollow center, which represents Boogaard's action of removing himself from the sculpture, resulting in unique pieces that allow each viewer to fill in their own emotional narratives.
