About this artwork
It took several months for Frank Pieperhoff to find this gesture. There are two contradictory sides of the artist - and also of the human being in general - which come together for a moment. It is the view into the work of art after the work has been completed. It can be felt: A clear and unambiguous truth cannot be achieved. It is weighing up whether contradictions could be reconciled. Frank Pieperhoff is an experienced painter, draftsman, and sculptor based in Germany whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the Netherlands, Poland, and North Macedonia. The founder of the KUNSTGUT Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin, his diverse works are divide into two distinctive themes: human existence and color. In his artistic process, Pieperhoff fuses modern and classic techniques with oils and acrylics on canvas or fabric.
