In these paintings, the classic torso becomes an emotional, psychological and spiritual projection surface. Although there is often hardly any action in these works, some of these works are among the most intense and haunting paintings. The deep, dark glazes make the works appear new and different again and again. Even after a long time, new aspects keep appearing, which, accompanied by the festive colors, almost become a living person.

Frank Pieperhoff is an experienced painter, draftsman, and sculptor based in Germany whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the Netherlands, Poland, and North Macedonia. The founder of the KUNSTGUT Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin, his diverse works are divide into two distinctive themes: human existence and color. In his artistic process, Pieperhoff fuses modern and classic techniques with oils and acrylics on canvas or fabric.
