Driven by the urge to understand the world, I translate my impressions into colors, shapes, and structures. As a work emerges, ambiguities are clarified, impressions are organized, and overwhelm is dispelled. I use colors to set the tone, while structures and shapes act like script, creating orientation and providing support. The goal is always to understand and find inner peace. My color palette and motifs change depending on the location, resulting in multi-layered abstract paintings that oscillate between clear, geometric structures and free, flowing forms.
