About this artwork
This is a totally abstract mixed media painting exploring the amazing effect of texture as a base for paints, washes, glazes and a myriad of media. The artist chose to finish this piece with a "puddle" of resin to enhance the colors and somewhat minimize the texture, while, at the same time, allowing the viewer to experience and even touch the textures.
