In this fine art photograph, I took advantage of the magnificent and mystical atmosphere of the mist to photograph cranes. I was sitting in my car, searching for cranes facing each other. In this vast flock of thousands of cranes, I suddenly saw a small gap. And that's when the incredible happened: one of the cranes moved towards the other, and they began calling to each other. The calls of the many cranes in this clear, cool air, the scents of moss…
and grasses—it was simply beautiful and unforgettable. Capturing this image in this way was an immense stroke of luck.

I photograph animals as beings of light. Fog, backlighting, and sidelight transform birds into reduced, silent figures. My work is created in moments when nature loses its contours and transforms into a poetic, atmospheric world of images.
I am not seeking documentary depiction, but rather fleeting presence – those seconds in which light, space, and animal merge into a silent, almost abstract form. My photographs are observations of stillness, distance, and closeness all at once.
As a NABU member, raising awareness about bird and animal species is important to me; I advocate for a more respectful and sensitive perception of our nature.
I have already written five articles for the international journal Wildlife Photographic Mag, and more are planned.
