About this artwork
I have been collecting various plants from the landscape surrounding my studio in West Cork and specimens of house plants. I dry and press them in preparation for use in the printing process.
I have inserted two figures to the woodland scene, the one on the left represents the developer/deforestation while the more glamorous one on the right but equally threatening to the forest represents the conquistador who glibly tramples all before him.
