About this artwork
This picture was taken in 2017 after a working trip in Vietnam. Asian vases lie in a small altar. These partly abandoned places can be found in front of almost every house, in the cities and in the countryside. They are as different as humans are. This Asian vase, widely used in many places, has found its way from the multitude of virtuoso altar compositions into this picture, which painstakingly liberates itself from the clear origin of the motif.
