About this artwork

In this expressionist print, I captured the vibrant energy of a marketplace. With dynamic brushstrokes and a muted color palette, I wanted to make the pulsating atmosphere and daily hustle and bustle palpable. This work brings an exciting, almost vibrant mood to any room and invites the viewer to immerse themselves in a world full of movement and life.

Credentials

Friedhard Meyer, born in 1940, is an artist experienced in a variety of media, specializing in painting and embarking on adventurous artistic study trips. His stylistic signature is "New Pointillism," a time-consuming and meditative technique in which he outlines dots of color with black paint to enhance their luminosity. Meyer's art reveals a deep meditation on connection, patience, and the transcending power of technique, inviting the viewer to grapple with existential questions and embark on a journey into silence.
