Friedrich Stellmach is an award-winning German artist whose works have been extensively exhibited nationally. Both during and after his studies in art therapy, he worked with patients in psychiatric departments. Later, Stellmach integrated the "extreme expressive values" of mental states through varying series, in order to further highlight the psychological states in which we find ourselves. Through postures, body expressions, and often through a single gesture, his subjects are examples of current human foundations.
