When art reconnects us with our inner child...
Anyone who believes that art is primarily characterized by difficulty and complexity is wrong. Our artist Friedrich Wurm (Galerie Friedrich Wurm), who owes his creative impulses to very special role models, proves that lightness and spontaneity are what touch people. My greatest inspiration for my works are my grandchildren.… When they paint, it's a spectacle! Completely dreamy, peaceful and completely absorbed in what they are doing, they immerse themselves in their very own world. A world in which there is no thinking or pondering, but pure joy and devotion! Completely intuitive and authentic, they simply paint from their hearts. It is precisely this carefree nature that inspired me to create my series “Young Art”.
