Fritz Rumpf works as a photographer, conceptual artist, and digital artist, with a background in German and Romance studies, as well as documentary and artistic practice. Initially influenced by documentary photography, he developed a conceptual visual language inspired by classic photographers, later working independently of role models and even without a camera. His works invite reflection on memory, emotion, and individuality, creating a haunting atmosphere that makes collective and personal memory emotionally tangible.
