About this artwork
A few houses in the lively Camden neighborhood. A lively, fringe, modern, vibrant neighborhood. A pop-rock band is playing on the highway overpass further along. A large crowd has gathered on the sidewalk opposite. An imposing red bus passes by, the sound momentarily muffled. No one objects; they accept it. The sound of the street is vibrant, alive, an open-air concert.
Taking a snapshot on the ground and then creating a watercolor sketch afterwards,… in peace and quiet. A mini photo of the original site, in black and white, is affixed to the back of the creation.
