Jésus a beau se promener au coeur des étoiles comme dans un jardin enchanté, s’il entend le murmure d’un coeur, son propre coeur se laisse toucher et tend une main secourable à celui qui l’appelle. Mieux, ses mains sont tellement ardentes à le sauver de cette terre qui l’engloutit comme dans des sables mouvants que leurs bras ne font plus qu’un. Les passants peuvent bien faire la sourde oreille,…
Dieu entend et fait miséricorde. Encore faut-il le lui demander avec un soupçon de foi : dans cet oeuvre, l’homme englouti se demande ce qui lui arrive et s’il doit y croire. Bientôt, il verra la gloire de Dieu.
