About this artwork
Gérard Thoris, an economist by training, mainly uses oil painting for his works. His works, recognizable by their characteristic style, result from a meticulous mixture of colors to depict an inner vision. Subtle and complex, his art highlights religious themes, requiring deep meditation to achieve a rich symbolism. His works evoke a quest for spiritual purification and revelation, in an intimate dialogue with the matrix earth and the spirit.
