About this artwork
This table is a kind of summary of the work of Gabor Gozon. A lonely man is lying on green chairs in the Tuileries Garden, The effects of light everywhere, on him and around him. It's a very pleasant moment. In the background we see a parasol as a small nod to impressionism.
Gabor Gozon
France
« I never wanted to become an artist, and for a long time I had trouble labelling myself as such. »
Growing up in Hungary, it was images of cities such as Paris, London and New York that marked France-based artist Gabor Gozon's first decisive visual fascination. Working within the figurative movement, he creates immersive, richly detailed paintings that explore desire, loneliness, elegance, melancholy and light.
