About this artwork
Using acrylic paints, I've captured a winter scene here that hovers between Impressionism and Realism. The weathered window, covered in snow, speaks of transience and quiet beauty. I wanted to capture the atmosphere of a cold, tranquil moment, so that my painting would bring warmth and melancholy to your home. It lends a special depth and peace to any room.
I develop my monotypes using an AI program, print them out, and transfer them manually onto… a prepared base. After manual completion, the work is fixed.
As inspiration, I have photographed another picture from the series.

I work as a painter, primarily with acrylics on canvas, and occasionally on cardboard. For several years now, I've also been working as a digital artist. My background is actually in textile art, where I didn't see any further development for myself. I run my small studio from home. Here, I have a computer, desk, easels, and paints all within a very small space. Since I'm magically drawn to the beauty of morbid decay and everything surreal, I usually develop my designs on the computer using a blend of both. In the subsequent processing, I create works using an intuitive, multi-layered wet-on-wet technique. Technically, I place great emphasis on photorealistic representations. With my artfully composed paintings, I want to make viewers marvel and smile, and to give everyday things an appreciative context.
