In this painting, I played with the vibrant emotions of cooking, illustrating a chef in a moment of pure creativity and chaotic beauty.
What is this Chef cooking, a myth of the television product, praised by the mass media, drunk with his vanity and victim of his perversion? Why does he have a razor blade between his lips? What is "cooking in the pot?" These are some of the questions I enjoyed asking myself while I was painting the Chef. This work… expresses passion and movement, bringing a jolt of life and color wherever it is exhibited.
