About this artwork
In this painting, executed in acrylic, I fuse abstract and semi-abstract styles to create a vibrant, almost mystical depiction of an elephant. The bold blues and purples against the warm yellow background symbolize strength and calm at the same time. This composition is a tribute to the majestic dignity of nature, captured in a moment of quiet presence and timeless beauty. The elephant, traditionally a symbol of wisdom and patience, is interpreted… here in a modern, almost surreal way - an eye-catcher that exudes energy and inspiration in any room.
As a native of Tettnang, I love being close to Lake Constance. I have been painting for 30 years. At first I used watercolors, then oils, and today I have "arrived" at acrylics. Painting is a basic need for me. I paint what I experience every day, my thoughts, wishes, worries. For me, painting is a medium for delight, enjoyment, but also for processing and forgetting. Immerse yourself with me in a colorful, cheerful, happy world.
