In this painting, as in those in this series, I wanted to capture the collective energy of women, symbols of strength and uniqueness. The vibrant colors and stylized shapes create a visual rhythm that exudes warmth and community. Each figure is wrapped in different patterns, representing intertwined stories and diversity united as a single beating heart. This work brings positive energy and harmony to any space. Women are Volcano, joy, wealth...…
but too often they are denied expression; their intelligence, represented by their white faces, is kept "cold"...

Gabriella Gallo is a self-taught painter, a lawyer with a passion for art, who favors acrylics but loves experimenting with unusual materials such as seeds, sand, and sheet music. She uses a naive, playful, and paradoxical style, rich in vibrant colors and geometric figures, often featuring "volcano" women with anonymous faces. Her works convey energy, vitality, and joy, expressing both an inner feminine power and a subtle melancholy, inviting the viewer to reflect on identity, play, illusion, and inclusion. Everything is one, everything blurs... In her works, elephants wear tiger-striped coats, giraffes wear bell-bottoms, jellyfish transform into a silvery, opaque moon, roosters into smoke at dawn, octopuses into the setting sun that envelops the landscape... A constant in her paintings is often the Volcano... a symbol of fire that generates life and joy, but also consistency and stability.
