About this artwork
Loosely inspired by the film Blade Runner (vs 1982), this installation/sculpture/mechanics could very well have been used in the sets of the film of the time, because it takes up all of its codes
It is characterized by humanoid eyes ("the replicants" in the film).
The style and materials used are: futuristic, a little baroque, analog, disturbing....
It is designed to be seen during the day...AND at night as several electrical circuits highlight… the different sub-assemblies (eyes with variable focal length, controllable boxes, light focused below).
It also has a sound signature via cooling fans installed in the eyes which are perfectly in keeping with the theme.
