About this artwork
The painting is the result of a walk that ended with a bouquet of roses. Some of them arranged in favorite vases. Displayed in a beautiful place...At that moment, the setting sun came in through the window and made the shadows cast photogenic.
I also arranged a wooden spinning top, a souvenir from Pisa...the city of Pinocchio. Every day I waited for this hour to draw these shadows. The rest is my imagination. And the moon...the main character of… the exhibition in which this painting participates.
