About this artwork
This work was painted in the same period of time when I was painted horses. I wonted to capture the spontaneous movement and convey it on canvas so that it looks like alive with minimum colours and line movements. I didn’t do any pencil sketches, but worked straight away with oil on line canvas.
However, I never make preliminary sketches with a pencil, I always like to work spontaneously and expressive.
